Orthogonality
The dot-product-zero relationship between vectors
Core Idea
Orthogonality means two vectors are perpendicular in the Euclidean inner-product sense, so their dot product is zero. It provides the cleanest way to separate directions and errors.
Role In This Blog
In Mathbong, orthogonality supports projection, orthogonal bases, residual analysis, and least squares.
